Spices and sustainable agricultural system - ETHICALLY PROCURED: All our spices
are grown by friends in their family lands or by villagers in the ancient
traditional way without artificial fertilizers or modern chemical sprays.
As with pepper, the vines are planted against trees which provide support
to the vine and as the pepper vine root system draws sustenance from high
in the soil level it does not compete with the root system of the larger
tree. Most spices are grown as a supplementary crop to existing tree crops. |
