The estate lies to the South and below Brunswick in the lower elevations with Maskeliya to the North, Uva to the East and Morawak Korale to the South. Being at 800 metres it is a coloury liquor (liquor with strength of colour).

However the area receives the last breaths of the Cachan wind after its journey across the undulating Uva hills. During the build up and through the Uva season it exhibits a lighter liquor with some Uva flavour. popular as an all day tea, it will take milk. Again during the quality season shorter fermentation can change the look of the leaf.

Estate: 654 Acres (264.5 Hectares) - Supports 663 resident workers, 30 Staff and 2 Executives.

Liquor: Exhibits some colour, brisk with Uva flavour in the season only.

Brewing: 3 - 5 minutes. Increase to accentuate the flavour, especially in hard water.
