Delicate flavoury, aromatic, needs to be savoured.

Situated
in the salubrious Hill resort, surrounded by Golf links and a lake. Overlooks
famous Uva District and thus benefits from both Western & Uva season influences.
The estate is situated below the highest mountain in the island called 'Pidurutalagala'
known to planters as Pedro. It is also close to the Horton Plains where the
old rain forest is renowned for it's very large trees. Mahagastota or Mahagastotte
in Sinhalese means 'place with large trees'. Lover's Leap another original estate
in times past and then swallowed up into the group, is the division that relates
to the story of the King's daughter who jumped off the precipice with her illegal
lover.

Liquor: A light yellow liquoring tea. Superbly balanced high grown flavour (pungency) and aromatic for connoisseurs. To sip and savour. Best drunk without milk. Often drunk after a meal in the island in place of coffee.
