 Where the Teas are Available in Your AreaRobert Wilson's 'Ceylon' Teas works with a growing number of trade customers who are looking to satisfy their clients who are increasingly looking for better quality teas with a guaranteed provenance to them, also tea consumers who have become bored with the limitations of tea bag teas.
We supply single estae tea bags where these are required but also see a growing market for high quality loose teas.
Robert Wilson's 'Ceylon' Teas are a well established brand started in 1998 to supply not only single estate teas with all thye exciting characters that estate teas have but also to have the estates manufacture the type od teas that we require by direct negotiation at the estates, through our membership of the Sri Lankan Tea Board.
Our branded teas have won 42 Great taste Awards since 1999.
In 2008 we won 5 GOLD awards - three 3 STAR GOLD awards and two 2 STAR GOLD awards.
In 2009 we won three 3 STAR GOLD awards, one 2 STAR GOLD award and two 2 STAR GOLD awards.
As well as our own brand range of tea we have also been approached to procure and pack some clients own brand of teas for them from our branch in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Both my colleague in Colombo and myself are ex planters from that island and we are committed to using our knowledge of the industry there to provide teas of exceptional quality made in two specific quality dry periods each year when we can develop teas of exceptional quality and we are also committed to ensuring that we work as ETHICALLY as we can with all our suppliers in the island and also providing as much information about Ceylon teas and educational material as possible both to the trade and consumers. An important part of our policy is the arranging of very unusual tours to the island for the trade and consumers.
