We obtain our white tea from estates that maintain small plots of the authentic bush type which produces the finest quality of white teas. This specific bush type has the authentic leaf colour which is different to the normal tea V.P. clones and these bushes produce larger fatter tea buds with a slightly sweet flavour to them.

These are the Yin Zhen quality large tea buds from an authenic VP clone which has developed to produce very large buds & leaves that have a purple hue to them.
It is grown in small plots away from the main tea fields, mainly for security reasons and the pluckers can only collect small quantities each day which is why it costs more than the tradition teas.
The buds produce a very light slightly sweet taste with a very light coloured liquor. We recommend that you allow the buds to brew for 6 - 10 minutes or longer to your palate.
Heat freshly drawn water to 70 - 85 degrees C (158 - 185 degrees F)
