TOURS TO SRI LANKA

I look back with great pleasure to the time we spent with you in Sri lanka. I'm tempted to say that it was the best holiday I ever had; pleasurable and educational, physically active and a challenge to meet after most travel insurance companies had turned us down on grounds of age.

"My wife Wendy and I were on Robert Wilson's February 2010 tour of tea estates and sights. Jetwing organised the travel. I give both Robert and Jetwing absolutely full marks. We had a wonderful time and I congratulate Robert on assembling an interesting and worthwhile selection of people. I now know more about tea than I could ever have learned without spending twenty years in the trade. We saw a lot of the island as well. Jetwing organised a car and driver for each couple on the tour with a minibus for others. This worked well. I recommend a tour organised in this way rather than in the ubiquitous tourist coach. It didn't seem to add much to the cost. I would be very happy to use Jetwing again for a tailor made holiday but my advice to anyone considering one of Robert Wilson's tours is to seize the opportunity. You will not regret it!

Many thanks for arranging the recent visit to Sri Lanka. we really did enjoy the country and learnt a great deal about the way of life of the peoples as well as the tea.
We knew a bit about tea production, it was the auction, and discussions at the Tea Research centre that we found especially interesting. The visit to the Organic and Biodynamic estate was a real eye opener and is perhaps a way forward for specialist production in the future.

I visited Sri Lanka a couple of years ago and saw for myself the
elaborate process of tea making. While at the plantation I tasted some
teas and realised that PG Tips isn't the real and only taste of tea!!
After getting back, I searched for REAL tea suppliers and found you.

Yes it's absolutely fine to use my comment regarding the teas - they really are super quality. The loose leaf Earl Grey is the best I've ever tasted. And the UVA Season's Best has a wonderful smooth flavour - its heaven!
